We had one on our balcony this year. We live next to a strip of woods with a brook (platsbeek) and have a couple of bird feeding systems. It’s supposed to be a common bird here but we have only seen it once.

Additionally, it would be appreciated if the location of the sighting and a date were given when a photo or question is posted. You do not have to give the precise location, something like "Northern Idaho, June 2023" or even "North-Western US, June 2023" suffices.

Fancy cotton ball borb
The wren gets to have his/her tail in the picture, but the long-tailed tit doesn't. That seems unfair.
Plus the wren gets a day named after it. There's clear evidence of bias here.
