Next door in Ohio we taxed the shit out of our weed and now nobody is buying any. We just go up to Michigan for it.

That I will definitely give you. From what I hear about MI (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) they were basically the same way and then prices fell as more competition came in, crop went up, etc. etc. Time will tell.

Not just that, but the taxes are actually lower in Ohio (15.75%) than Michigan (16%). Both have a 10% cannabis tax, but Ohio has a slightly lower sales tax.

Both are significantly lower than Illinois though.
