It's been a decade since Russia started the war in Europe. Those corps have had plenty of time to evacuate.

Well, if the companies didn't get their stuff out after the Crimea shit, that's entirely on them. If you deal with occupiers, don't be surprised if they steal from you. It's just a pity it can help putin a bit. I hope it's not much use to him.

Mm, seems like a risk to doing business in Russia. I guess it’s not a good investment.

Who could have guessed? Came completely out of the blue. Unforeseeable.

If you skirt sanctions as a multinational corporation, you're... Well you're usually not going to have that bad of a time if I'm being real. This does being a smile to my face though.

Good. They should be punished for ever trusting Russia in the first place and Russia further decimates any possibillity for future "legitimate" external Western investment

Their own fault, hope it hurts.

It is their fault, but most of the assets listed do not amount to much. There was one that broke a billion, but that was for a gas processing facility and not something you can move easily.

I speculate that most of those assets were written off already and it's mainly just a puff piece of an article.
