Can we, maybe, start asking, "what is the best that could happen?" And aim in that direction, instead.
The best that could happen right now for SCOTUS is we put a bunch more on the court, the super shitty ones (6 right?) die a natural death or they get charged for a murder or something that they actually committed. Our odds aren't great, the new shitty ones are super young and one of them obviously committed gang rape, so murder might not even cut it.
Really? I seem to remember it involving more tears and blubbering and conduct generally unbefitting a Supreme Court nominee.
Seriously. I've fired clients for acting that way.
It'd be hilarious if it weren't so actively harmful how the party that gave us right-to-work laws and no-cause termination is the same party that refuses to fire people for extremely fireable behavior.
