Anyway, I wasn't aware this was even a question. We got hit pretty hard with these a few years ago, and it was standard advice to check your car before heading out. Three years later, I hardly see them at all anymore. Something probably figured out that they were yummy.

...They also fly. I guess the argument is that with trains you could add some sort of bug spray on the exterior quite easily while that would be all but impossible for all the cars on the road.
