I like that path, it seems like it would be better at more universal applications. It's a good approach that probably relies less on luck.
I'm sure this is a terrible run but it's my first

Oh that's a clever approach you were trying to take there. Shame it took so long to actually work.
I can't see the path they took, sadly.
Oh that's really weird. I can't see it on Jerboa, but can from te lemmy-ui on the web. Very interesting.
Edit: but I can see it on Jerboa if I click to "reply" and look at the preview it gives me.
I think I fixed the issue
I agree with Zagorath, I like the cleverness of the path you took. I found a way to cut two steps off of that route:
Path
Sea of Azov ➡️ Bumblebee ⏰ 01:32 🦶7 (Sea_of_Azov ➡️ Greek_colonization ➡️ Latin_alphabet ➡️ B ➡️ B_(disambiguation) ➡️ Bee_(disambiguation) ➡️ Bee ➡️ Bumblebee)
Notes
Instead of having to make the transition between "Beta" and "B", you can go to "Latin_Alphabet" directly from "Greek_colonization". And once you've gotten to "Bee_(disambiguation)" you can go straight to "Bee" from the first link on that page.
I like following other routes after I've submitted my own. I think it's useful to see what leaps someone else makes, and to learn from someone else's approach to a problem.
Thanks for sharing, so I could also learn!

Notes
The link "Nelumbo" showed up as "sacred lily" in the flora section of "Sea of Azov". I nearly added an unnecessary step by clicking "bee" after going to "pollinator", but scrolling down revealed "bumblebee" as an option.
