General posting suggestions:

Preface the submission with the type of enhancement - ex: [UserScript].
Include a screenshot of the enhancement in use (where possible)
Indicate the requirements for use (eg, greasemonkey, stylus, etc.)

cannot find this anywhere. i don't want to automatically hide everything i scroll past, or everything from an instance, just certain posts i don't want to see or engage with

Not always the best solution, but sometimes appropriate. Connect for Lemmy lets you hide a post, block a user, block a community or block an instance.

Connect for Lemmy has this, and doesn't charge money like Sync
