Looks like lemmy.world is going to be the main instance for most communities. Lemmy.world might end up being the reddit replacement and other instances will have smaller communities?

Tbh, I hope not. I'd prefer everything spread out amongst a lot of instances so that if one instance goes down, like has happened a couple times already, all of Lemmy isn't screwed. But if it starts out with a lot of main communities on there to make it easier for new people, I suppose that's what we'll have to do.
