Funnily enough, my wife keeps moving my old ratty t-shirts in storage, and I don't realize, until years later when I think "wait, whatever happened to that t-shirt..."

My mom used to donate my old clothes somewhat periodically, and it took me years to realise she was doing it, only because i randomly remembered a shirt i really liked being missing, much like the meme.

My kryptonite is tools, but yeah same thing. And we just moved so it’s likely in a box.

Flip side is when I start going through those boxes and the awesome feeling I get when I find something I didn’t even know I was missing.

Double edged sword I guess.
