Just a different flavor. All the same.

Glad more people are playing RPGs and that we are spoiled for choice now.

Hmm... the Amazon description says "for ages 13+". I guess my search for an RPG suitable for my six-year-old continues.

Dnd is suitable for a 6 year old. Just dumb down the rules and go with the rule of cool.

It’s actually for 8+ years. Review by parent said their kids love it. https://nerdist.com/article/bring-the-land-of-equestria-to-the-tabletop-with-this-mlp-rpg/

I've never played it, but I've heard from a friend that it is actually a total blast assuming your group has a good attitude and open mind going into it

I have it on good authority that at least a few seasons of the TV show deserves all the hype it got from someone who checked out the show before it blew up online. But me and everyone else still won't watch it cause, you know...

I watched it with my child niece. The first two seasons are legitimately great for a children's show with a surprisingly deep narrative.

But then season 3 or 4 the production team changed and it went from being deep like Adventure Time to just being generic "good enough" kid's show.

Legitimately kind of a sad thing, actually

edit: typo

How does it compare to Mörk Borg?

[–] Vespair@lemm.ee 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Never heard of that one so I can't compare

Mörk Bork(Swedish for dark fortress) is a brutal dark fantasy horror game created by a couple of Swedish metalheads. I ask as a joke.

[–] Vespair@lemm.ee 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Gotcha. Sounds like a blast, honestly. One of my most played games this past year has been Metal: Hellsinger, and I'm a sarcastic dark comedy metalhead, so it sounds right up my alley!

Highly highly highly recommend. If you like solo play, look up the Forbidden Psalms book, you create a party of 5 dudes and run into dungeons and die a lot.

Damn. Missed the boat. Thanks for the update.

Does Mörk Borg use a D20?

My Little Pony might be slightly crunchier than it haha.
