I love the Linux community but it absolutely drowns the other communities in I subscribe to in my home feed. Is there a way to remove it from my home feed without unsubscribing from it?

maybe favourite it instead of subscribing? then it'll show up in the dropdown at the top of the homepage, but won't be in the feed

Just FYI if you’re the only subscriber on your instance for a given community, it’ll stop updating if you remove the final subscriber on your instance. This is likely not a problem on any medium to large sized instance, but something to consider on smaller sized instances.

Thanks for the heads up!

I use the scaled sorting option... It isn't perfect but it works well enough to keep 196 from flooding my feed

Hey, that seems to work too. Thanks!

It was a game changer when I discovered this.

Yeah it really does such a good job at keeping the larger communities from drowning everything else out…
