This feels like a game where you get 90% of its value out of watching JackSepticEye play it on YouTube.

Yes! You are wrong! Ugg is really fun with your partner. It’s not like traditional games and you just go about being silly. There is a whole point to the game and it’s fun to get to the “end”. It’s definitely worth the money for a daddy daughter play day or a bf gf non-gamer date night.

Can you play on two devices, or is it couch CO-OP only?

Can confirm. My daughter loves to play co op with me or her friends.
It's probably not quite as fun if you know all the puzzle solutions, but it's still a lot of fun and honestly a joy to control.
