Hello,

I noticed that everytime I go to a mechanic or someone new gets in my car, the bluetooth autoconnects to their phone. How can I restrict access?

I tried to look it up but could only find how to turn bluetooth off completely.

Along the same lines, does anyone happen to know how to restrict my phone from auto connecting to various cars? I thought they had to ask.

My car is a 2019 Nissan Rogue and my phone is a Pixel 8 with Android 14.

You change it on your phone and turn off media in the Bluetooth settings for that device. You can then set a routine to turn it on or a widget button via Nova launcher with a lot more effort.

You're welcome!

Turning it off when you pull up to the shop driveway and then turning it back on when you leave is the simplest option, but takes a bit more effort. Unless you are in a revolving door at a shop then you'd only be doing this occasionally.

Fair enough. Thank you
