That’s a fucking hero. Guy had everything in the US, was a tall handsome professional athlete. But he gave it all up to fly bombers. Sacrifice for the greater good. Thank you Waddy

Would imagine it was 1944 as the B-29 didn't get deployed until May of that year. Great picture though.
