That's the strange thing, the community is federated, but not the bot post: https://discuss.tchncs.de/c/chat@literature.cafe

Ah, it's likely because the fact that the bot is now mod hasn't federated over to that instance. Unsure why it isn't, but when someone who isn't tagged as mod of a community (such as an instance admin) pins a post and it tries to federate, it breaks the federation. I assumed that bug was fixed, but I guess not. I will make a bug report about it on github.
