I have had two friends recently get into accidents where they were going through a roundabout and someone did not give way and slammed out into them - one on a bike and one in a car with family. I really think we are not ok out there, just go carefully and watch out.

Edit-all involved are now doing ok.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve nearly had accidents because as you’ve highlighted people don’t give way when they’re meant to.

I try and be extra careful going into one and also while going around inside.

I hope that the accidents occurs were not too serious.

I had two incidents near La Trobe uni on my bike at round abouts years ago. The two problems with them is people need to know how to use them, and they need to look
