I guess, in the same vein that some people consider collecting anything a hobby. Personally, I'd rather be shown the highlights of someone's stamp collection than Funkopop collection and I know nothing about stamps

I saw a meme here a few days ago that said Funko is basically just those old Precious Moment sculptures for nerd culture and thought it was hilarious.
