At this point, I'd assume both. Also, people are wearing fur-suits to Renaissance fairs now.

Fursuiters will use any costume event as an excuse to break out & wear their suit. And can you blame them? They're expensive! They wanna get as much use out of them as possible. Plus.. it's fun!

Better be a quality suit with good cooling. Every time I go to a ren fair it's hot as balls.

To be faire, people have been wearing fursuits to faires since fur suits first existed.
