It's bin day for us. I'm guessing lots of the bins in our street must be tired, when I left this morning many were laying down having a nice nap :|

Our garbo will deserve a bonus by the time he's finished today!

I think my bin got a bit hyperactive with all the wind. I put the green waste bin out with only a bag of food scraps in it, this morning it was completely full of weeds. Obviously it was feeling a bit under-utilised and went out to do some weeding.

I do consider bins on the road already fair game (for the correct contents!) but it’s not uncommon for people to post requests for bin space in the local FB group

I was actually thinking when I put it out that it was a bit of a waste putting out a massive bin with just a small bag of chicken bones down the bottom. It's mostly surprising that someone was out filling a bin full of weeds in the middle of the night, expecially considering the weather!

Ours are still standing, but full several hours after typical pickup. Might be a mess further down the road?

Ours were still up too thankfully (and not yet emptied), but further up the road I saw the garbage truck stopped as the driver was cleaning up a mess. Poor guy is going to have a long day :(

Ours are still up, thankfully. But I don't think the ones in my area do chase after rubbish or pick up knocked over bins. A few days ago I was coming home and a lot of people's bins were tipped over and still completely full, about 11 hours after pickup in that area. It was a similar story last week
