well well well

it seems that the literal opposite of "go woke go broke" is what's actually true.

Funny how this shit keeps happening

that whole movement is so funny to me, like they tried to move to a different beer after bud light did a harmless advertisement and their replacement WAS FROM THE SAME PARENT COMPANY

I mean that's just AB InBev working as intended. I walk into my local food lion and the only beers I know or suspect aren't AB InBev are Yeungling or the five local microbreweries that only make IPAs.

Who could've known that pandering exclusively to broke rednecks and Russian bot farms was a bad business idea?

It's a conundrum wrapped in a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in an eggroll served as a happy ending at a shady massage parlor totally opaque to the comprehension of all mortal minds except literally everyone with more than half a brain!! XD

Actually it would still be lucrative as hell if Russia hadn't started an invasion and gotten themselves sanctioned to hell. A bit harder to get those bribe payments out when no one takes your money any more!

Nah, genius move. Here’s a few billion dollars bonus of our shrinking profits from the next decade or so, so you don’t lose motivation. - half brain dead Tesla board.

[–] Kecessa@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

The board suggested a vote in favor but it's the investors who voted in the end

[–] Makeitstop@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

A lot of people who would have voted no just sold their stock instead.

The government should cut out their subsidy for Tesla EVs to the tune of the pay increase. Send a message to greedy CEOs to not steal government subsidies for themselves.

Also send a message to the corrupt majority shareholders who voted yes to an absurd pay package. You can bet they get a private call before any major Tesla announcements to get ahead thanks to those votes.

He’d lose all his performance bonuses from the sales cut and the shareholders would want him gone asap.

The deep state is obviously preventing upstanding conservatives from being successful!

He just forgot the "or" in the middle of that phrase
