Idk they've made it such that when you press the button to open the door the door will not open unless you press the button again when the train is stopped. At least on the N*Rs. Probably a safety feature or something but I don't like it so it's woke.

It my experience. I don’t normally catch the train but had cause to use the AirTrain and Redcliffe lines on Friday and Monday. Once the button lights up you can press it and the doors open automatically once the train stops.
