meh, has that "quirky animated comedy" vibe. Doesn't match the aesthetic of the comic much. feels like just another generic animation that they had in the pipeline and they've just slapped some branding of a known comic ontop.

From a viewer's perspective yes, it doesn't seem very interesting to me. But seeing a cartoon artist make money is exciting!

I agree. I feel like the obvious choice would have been these Aliens come to earth to observe our strange habits and, in the end, gives us a unique perspective of ourselves.
