Nah, they went all in on Yasuke being a proven black samurai by getting in so called "experts" in the field. And now that they have been caught they play the "work of fiction" card. They don't care about Japanese fiction. All they care about is getting money and feeling good about themselves for having inclusion.

Inclusion at the cost of erasing a Japanese male character (from a game that takes place in Japan, hilariously), very inclusive indeed.
