I (7+ years closeted to parents) made a comment about California's first hurricane in 80+ years, and she responded with something like,

Maybe it will wash out all the gays and wicked people

Really?! I didn't even know how to respond to that.

I'm sorry about that. I hope you find the freedom to find your own way in religion (or lack thereof) and not let it be defined by your ma & co.

Oh I've been out of it for 7+years now, no intention of returning.
