“Axel F” opens as these films do, with Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) getting into undercover trouble in Detroit, this time stopping a robbery at a Red Wings game that leads to a destructive chase through the city in a snowplow

Are they just redoing everything they did in all the other movies, but slightly different?

Yup... slightly different, a lot older.

I get that they want to keep it similar style, but man they didn't take any risks.

It's like watching episodic TV. There are no surprises.

Is it at least better than Coming to America 2?

Well, my expectations were really low for that so I didn't mind that as much as others.

My expectations were slightly higher for this and so I didn't enjoy it as much. It's not the worst thing. It's watchable, I got a few chuckles, but it's simply meh. It didn't need to be made, but for two hours, it's fine.

I think it was about ten-fifteen years too late.

That's too bad. Oh well!

I mean, that's what they did for all 3 of the original movies, which people liked.
