How do you see the community growing? Look past the issues or continue to join together under a new common theme/title?
I understand wanting to avoid the conflict. I’m at the point of avoiding and trying to move on. I cancelled my FloatPlane subscription. I’d not watched any videos. I agree that it’d be great to continue the community.
I think there will be lots of people blindly downvoting. If you provide a way forward that might slow that behavior down. What would you suggest people start doing instead of focusing on what they should stop?
We can still talk about tech stuff. This is a community of like-minded tech enthusiast.
I have a lot more faith in this community than the other one that's gone a little off the rails vendetta
Not necessarily looking past the behaviour - LTT-related news and updates should still be posted, and issues/scandals should still be discussed and condemned, but not to the point where we turn the community into one whose purpose is to witch hunt.
In my personal view, scandals should be reported on, express disapproval, and move on. The community should be around what we all love: discussion about technology. And to ensure that the community remains focused as to not compete with the wider technology community, it can be about technology featured on LMG channels. Many do have questions and concerns about the featured technology.
If people want to witch hunt, they can go to the lienus tech tips channel.
Again this is just a suggestion, so not at all mandating anything. Personally I'm not particularly interested in witch hunting people. I am passionate about tech, not drama.
