Plans for the day abruptly derailed by realisation of failing silicone job at base of shower wall right in the splash zone.

Try getting through marine epoxy grout you fucker

Old stuff was straight silicone, so lots of swearing, picks, blades.....but l'epoxie be situated in lovely clean voids and curing merrily away since 8:30 pm.

I can't speak to epoxy grout, but I've been grouting recently and read on /ausreno that it takes a week or so to cure fully.

Still, shower pan under tiles should keep things waterproof unless the membrane has failed?
