Epistemology should be taught in primary school.

I mean that unironically. Learning about simple principles like non-contradiction and logical fallacies can help inoculate against so much bullshit.

With AI distorting the internet in every capacity, virtually everyone needs a new norm for evaluating whether their knowledge can be justified.

Epistemology, Logic, and Science Literacy fite me. These are the tools you use to teach yourself, anything.

It should be part of a 12 year rhetoric program. I didn't learn anything in English class after the 3rd grade. Granted, I was considered gifted, but you have a lot of slack to put in philosophical foundations and logic.

I have taught my children epistemology for this reason. It is THE key skill in the disinformation age.
