I know this is an odd thing to complain about, but I don't like how Amazon doesn't charge instantly when I order stuff. It feels like the non credit version of a credit card. They don't seem to take their money until 12:30am on the day of delivery, and I really don't like that they do that. It feels like they're encouraging me to spend money I don't have/shouldn't spend. I don't have overdraft so I guess it's not that bad, but still. If they took their money instantly, I'd know okay, I have exactly $x left
My bank when consulted on online gives me a total balance, and an available balance figure. That is, any pending payments fill up the gap between the two figures. Maybe your bank does something similar if you ask them nicely??????
I don't think it's that, because I have notifications on for all transactions. Amazon transactions don't show up at all, not even as pending until about midnight ish on the day of delivery. I've even confirmed that they don't because no parts of my balance change. I could buy something then spend the money on other things because they haven't charged me
