Also if you account for the right dude's stance and headwear you can narrow it down to may or june of 1942.
If I have a look at the ass-pack (not fanny-pack) I would say early June.
The location with the orientation of their shadows... It's totally July, come on man!
Damn. I totally forgot that plane shadows only start behaving that way after the 28th of June. Honest mistake on my part.
Okay, so in the background is a Consolidated P2Y seaplane. Those were retired and withdrawn from service in 1941 and sent back to Naval Air Station Pensacola. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consolidated_P2Y
So if it's 1942, then it has to be in Florida at least.
But how do we know if it's 1942?? 😨
