MODERATORS

Hello everyone,

I guess, as much people here, I was looking for a place to discuss men-related issues.

!mensliberation@lemmy.ca is a quite active community, and discusses men-related topics.

You can have a look at the type of content here: https://lemmy.ca/post/2423539

I usually feel like Lemmy is too small to have several communities around the same topics, so I would suggest anyone interested to give it a try there.

In my opinion, no. Most Menslib communities I've seen (including the one mentioned here) are primarily focused on a different topic from what Ask Men focuses on (feminism and a feminist outlook on men's issues). Even if not particularly active at the moment, Ask Men provides it's own, important niche for discussions and perspectives that should not be overlooked.

Same answer. I have blocked mensliberation because of the focus on feminism. I would never tell women how to behave around men, that’s creepy (or worse).

Yeah I avoid menslib forums. The idea of men's issues being covered only under a feminist hegemony is as bad as a Conservative hegemony.
