This is why I prefer Admiral Nelson's rum.

Also because it's quite a bit cheaper.

Definitely a lower quality rum though.

Kraken if you want something a little better, or Sailor Jerry if you're looking for something comparable in quality.

Though none of them are what I would call "premium"

Calico Jack -- different and sadly shittier historical figure, but the rum is damned drinkable for the price.

Nelson was a huge proponent of slavery so I don't know how much worse Calico Jack could be.

I never heard of the brand, but I had heard the story.

I can well imagine people paying extra for corpse rum.
