You know his career has been going on for longer than just the past year right?

Yes, which is why I brought up his furious early-BLM-days coverage of police shootings, back before it was a mainstream position, and his resignation from Comedy Central and his activism for the 9/11 firefighters and the other stuff he did like 5-10 years ago.

People can do good and bad things and people dislike him for doing bad things for the last 20 years.

Sure. What bad stuff has he done, to counterbalance the stuff I'm talking about which puts him in the 99th percentile of people who are in the public eye in any capacity talking about politics?
