I find playing is easy. I've never been a player in more than two campaigns at once, but I could probably swing that without any issues. There's a bit of prep in making your character, but past that I just gotta show up and enjoy myself.

Running more than one sucks, though. I was, at one point, running two games with each having a session every other week and it was a pain in the ass.
