If anyone is confused about how people can believe this shit, it's right here. "It's amazing to have knowledge." The belief they have secret knowledge that brings them to a level above the plebs. That the common man won't even try to find or even believe you when you tell them the secrets cause they just aren't like you, they're not ready to ascend like you have. It's as intoxicating to a certain type of person as heroin.
It sounds intoxicating. I'd probably believe it if I were significantly less educated
