Just watched my elderly neighbour reverse into his mailbox. Barely any damage, but I just know he'll spend the next 3 days 'fixing' it loudly with every power tool he owns.

Might have cracked his bumper a bit but that's all. He was going very slow, but managed to knock the box over.

yikes. Vic roads should probably have a "dob in an old person who shouldnt drive any more" hotline. Though TBH, one incident probably isnt enough to make that judgement call. But its a small step from there to "Was trying to park and accidentally ran over the wife and went through a shop front".

I've seen him drive around locally and always seemed fine. But yeah, he's in his late 70s (maybe even early 80s now) so not gonna get better.
