I’m excited to announce that my wife’s cat and I have reached a tentative mateship after 4 years. She’s never “hated” me, but she’s always made it pretty clear where I stand with her and that Mrs B is her preferred human. But somethings started to soften, she likes my kid so I think she’s decided I’m alright based on that. She’s even started coming to find me for pats.
The bitch of it all? She’s not even my wife’s cat! I’m the one who said “we can’t leave her here! No ones even looking at her! We have to bring her home.” But nope, Mrs b got all the credit and love.

Cats: man’s okayest friend.

aw, hugs

( also, be sneaky and get some of the paste cat treats, prawns are a good one, then you*ll be the preferred one forever 😺 )

Oh she comes if you call her name and say treats, But you get no points for giving her treats because she just thinks she’s entitled to them.

Do you have a beard? Rub your chin on the top of the cat's head. They live for that shit

Sadly no. Just stubble. The kid pulls on the beard too hard.

That would 100% be the designation she would give me, yes.
