Israeli Citizenship is determined solely by religion. The only reason that a Palestinian can't be an Israeli citizen is they haven't converted to Judaism. That's religious discrimination.

Otherwise you'd also have to classify the Protestant vs Catholic wars in Europe as racist too.

As I stated, it is not incorrect to use the term racism for religious discrimination, especially not when it involves a religion you can't just join at will. What matters is moreso whether they see themselves as a seperate people from whoever they discriminate against.
