The last time there was talk of a coalition government the Conservatives acted like it was illegal and not a completely normal feature of our democracy.
Which is incredibly ironic given the CPC is a "big tent" party. Essentially a coalition party of several smaller conservative leaning groups.
The one where Harper shut down the government?
