I recently ran into an issue where running Civ V at 4K in fullscreen would just show a blank screen with whatever audio stream was active last playing.
Mouse, keyboard, Task Manager, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, all dead. Even the newish screen that's supposed to pop up when you try to force shut down didn't show.
All that to say, Sid fears nothing and no one.
That’s the Bethesda special though.
Every Bethesda game I’ve ever played, except Star field, has had at least one hard crash so bad it hijacked my system and refused to close.
Thanks Todd.
It just works
I've had various Fallouts refuse to close, but I've always still at least been able to open Task Manager and force the process to end.
SuperF4 will save you my child
