I just was telling my son he should watch Trigun the other day after not hearing about it for years and years
Its funny, i started reading the original Trigun manga a few months back, after learning that the show is over 50% filler. but what blew my mind is my favorite episodes were the first 3 episodes, and they were all fillers. What an absolutely wild choice to introduce a show with filler episodes.
I hear the remake series is good, but in it they've changed Meryl and Milly to be news reporters instead of some kind of dystopian insurance agents, which I'm sad about because I had always found that to be a stroke of genius.
Huh, the remake looked it lacked hugely in art direction imo. Don't know how the story is though.
