Aside from this adorable picture, New Orleans was a major disappointment. Bourbon street smelled like puke. Signs everywhere telling you to be careful or you’ll be robbed or murdered. Did not feel safe in any way.

New Orleans reminds me of cities in 3rd world countries I have visitied. It has some cool history, music, and architecture, but it feels dangerous in a lot of parts. I heard a lot of gunshots in my short stay there. Also, like you said, it stinks.

I've had a great time every time I've gone to NO. Such a fun city.

Absolutely. It's so lively there and with all the people around at all times of the night, I never felt unsafe. Just people out having a good time
