Just got asked by a random woman to help pay $25 at a nearby glasses store... she claims to have no cash, no card, and... no phone? Also asked for my phone number so she can pay me back $30. Also she talked slow.

Carried a handbag and a shopping bag containing a small amount of clothing.

yeah, not that smart but smart enough to learn some simple scams

I think they meant that they're not that smart but smart enough to know that that's a simple scam?

Oh I see, I couldn't tell whether it's me or the girl not knowing the simple scam part lol.

She was probably by drugs though. My wife ended up buying for her a meal instead and declining the repayment.
