On a recent post, there were a lot of comments, which said that they were missing the headphones on newer mobile devices.

How many actually use the headphone jack?

I ask, because I have one on my phone, since I really wanted one, but I rarely use it. Like Tops 1/Month.

When using wireless headphones you basically need to buy $100 ones before they equal the sound quality of a $5 dollar headphone set.

I accidentally bought a phone without a jack and I hate it because now I need to use a stupid little dongle that doesn't work properly.

Skullcandy Sesh Evo noise cancelling earbuds- $65. Sounds good, works well, battery life long, etc.

Thats progress I guess. Its still 10 times the price I used to pay for headphones tough.

Oh agreed there, my headphones of choice used to be $15 Akai headphones which were like earplugs with a tiny speaker in the middle, almost as good as noise-cancelling.

Actual noise-cancelling was worth the price for me though. And I admit it's kind of nice to not accidentally pull the headphones out of the jack all the time.
