If there are indeed more layers to it than the immediatelly obvious (i.e. it actually has what you call "depth") and you're not seing them, then that's you, not others, and your "14 year old" jib is really just you compensating.

Hello! Apparently I hit the wrong reply button and replied to your comment instead of the image! Sorry about that! Wasn’t trying to imply your comment was shallow or anything, that was my bad!

I was trying to reply to the original image, which struck me as a shallow interpretation of Franklin’s quote about Liberty being sold out for security. It’s not generally wrong, but I saw a lot of Americans abuse it during the pandemic which was incredibly frustrating.

Sorry again, didn’t mean to imply your thoughtful addition was bad or anything!
