"We're about to lose the best manager we ever had, how can we convince him to stay with the best fans in the world?"
"Lads I have a fantastic idea"
Surely Xabi isn’t the best manager they’ve EVER had
Wait, wym they're about to lose him
Outside the box, correction, gender thinking
I know this is a joke but Leverkusen is known to have no proper fanbase anyway
Complete bullshit.
Might as well say that all Bayern fans are plastics/success-fans. Oh wait...
Let him live in his own world. It just shows how little knowledge they have
I've been to most stadiums in Germany, few were as empty as the BayArena. And of course Bayern has tons of success/Event Fans. The same was true for Dortmund in 2011-13. Success sadly attracts people who might otherwise not be interested as much and there's not much you can do about it. Maybe the current success will actually fill your stadium for a while.
every time I've been at the BayArena, against any opponent (incl. Hoffenheim), it was sold out, so not sure what you're on about.
Maybe that's true now, it wasn't a few years ago. I remember watching a match against PSG in the Champion's League and the stadium was barely half full.
Leverkusen may not have many fans, but their ultras are a very "respectable" group as in being real fans
idiot fans are everywhere. Alonso will leave regardless.
They had Heynckes not that long ago.
And they’ve had Rinus Michels back in the 80s
I would even argue that Schmidt is better than Alonso
I would trade Schmidt for Xabi in a heartbeat
And Daum
Who had worse results.
With a far worse team.
