I understand that it's a meme and all, but, guys and gals, please, use a secure password manager and never type a password again!

Can't get to my password manager without logging into it and the OS.

[–] Aux@lemmy.world -2 points 11 months ago

Don't you have multiple devices, most of which are unlocked with a fingerprint or a PIN? Literally a non-issue.

[–] Tier1BuildABear@lemmy.world -2 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Yeah, because 1 company having every password to every account you own has proven SO safe in the past.

[–] Aux@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Which company? Ever heard of KeePass?

[–] Tier1BuildABear@lemmy.world -1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Doesn't matter, either way they'll eventually sell my info or get hacked and have it stolen. These days a sticky note on your monitor is hilariously more secure.

Just write all you passwords in a lockable diary. Everyone knows its rude to read another person's diary

What? Check the app, it cannot sell anything and there's nothing to steal. Man...

[–] Tier1BuildABear@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

If you trust that, I have a bridge to sell you.
