A community for women to find support and discuss living with ADHD.

I was browsing my list of communities and realized I haven't heard anything from this one for a while. I really treasure hearing from other women with ADHD and knowing I am not alone.

What can we do to bring more life to this community? What would you like to see more of? Memes? Articles? Check-ins? Something else?

I know we are limited by Lemmy's small userbase, but we can still have a small thriving community.

Let's brainstorm together :) Appreciate all of your ideas!

Well, this is a pretty niche community to begin with... ADHD Women on Lemmy? How many of you are there?! /hj
Still, the community won't die as long as people post!!! I saw this on All/Hot, so surely other people will as well. There'll always be someone out there; just post whatever, no need to overthink it in this case, IMO.

That being said, judging by the feed, memes is probably a great way to raise engagement. The people love memes!! Something else that could be cool would be sharing content from women with ADHD or that you relate to. Do you have a favourite streamer or YouTuber? Audiobooks or games you like? Maybe other women with ADHD might appreciate recommendations like that, from their peers, y'know. ADHD music? IDK.

I'm not an ADHD Woman, but hopefully my opinion still counts on this!

Your opinion totally counts, and your ideas are awesome! I figured with 1.29k subs there are plenty of us to make up a thriving community. I'll see what I can find and post!

And I was actually pretty impressed with the membership for such a niche group! Gave me hope and a smile and I’ll make more of an effort to post and comment for my fellow ADHD women friends.
