So, funny story, I cut the hedges outside my gym. Nobody could get by on the footpath, and I needed to duck every time I passed on my scooter and ride a bit on the grass. It was rediculous
No it didn't look as nice after I cut them. But if they properly maintained them, they would have looked better (I basically had to chop a lot of green off). If they kept pruning them like they were meant to, I wouldn't have had to cut back all the green.
Furthermore, id imagine a mobility scooter would get scratched passing it.
This isn't even a debate. Those useless neighbours are inconveniencing people. If the hedge was so important, they can move their fence further back
