Is Bazzite what one would call an "immutable" OS? I found this part of the FAQ but am still unclear as my understanding isn't very deep.

Okay, thank you. When did you last try installing Bazzite? The only reviews I could find on YouTube we're for the Steam Deck and people seemed to have good experiences. I want to try the desktop version though.

1-2 months ago. But it was the Gnome version.

Maybe rolling from stock Silverblue to Bazzite works better. Haven't tested it yet, and I think I won't, happy with my setup for now. Some tweaking has still to be done (can't control everything with my Xbox S BT controller, getting it running took 2 extra settings in the bt main.conf (AutoEnbale=true and Privacy=device)).
